Have Fun At 3 Naperville Charity Events

Dinner at one of the most exciting Naperville charity events.

If you love having fun while supporting a good cause, mark your calendar for these three Naperville charity events. You’ll be treated to the best deals, comfort food, and gorgeous local art!

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Used Books & Media Sale (June 12-15)

Book lovers can expand their personal collections and support higher education programs at the Naperville Area AAUW Used Books & Media Sale.

This event will offer more than 30,000 hard and soft cover books, DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records. You can browse rare and valuable titles in the Fabulous Finds section or hunt for bargains on the main floor, where everything is $1 or $2. Alternatively, you can also fill a bag for $10 at the closeout sale on the last day.

All proceeds will fund AAUW scholarships and other programs supporting women and girls, including the Angeline Gale Memorial Scholarship.

Naperville Heritage Society Fundraiser (June 18)

If you enjoy visiting the outdoor history museum at Naper Settlement, let the Naperville Heritage Society know. You can also show your gratitude another way.

Here’s how: Head over to its Colonial Cafe fundraiser and eat a meal. The Naperville Heritage Society will receive 20% of the proceeds from your meal.

Meanwhile, you get to enjoy comfort foods like country fried steak, beer-battered fish & chips, and ice cream in a multitude of delicious flavors. This yummy fundraiser is all part of Colonial Cafe’s Care fundraising program, which supports a wide range of community nonprofits.

Naperville Fine Art & Artisan Fair (June 22-23)

Donate to local food pantries while you take in the show at the 60th Naperville Fine Art & Artisan Fair.

More than 100 artists will be exhibiting, selling, and demonstrating their original works. The ClaySpace Ceramic Arts Center will also hold its Empty Bowls Fundraiser to benefit local food pantries.

The Empty Bowls fundraiser is part of an international grassroots campaign to fight global hunger. So, buy a beautiful bowl and do your part to alleviate the suffering of millions today! There will also be entertainment, a silent auction, and a children’s activity tent, all included in your free admission.

All in all, these Naperville charity events offer something for everyone.
